Bike fitting for road, gravel, MTB, city bikes and triathlon
Choose your type of bike at the start of the measurement. Each type has its own target angles, so a city bike is never judged like a race bike.
Road bike & gravel
Drop-bar bikes for the road and gravel, with a goal for racing, endurance or comfort.
Mountain bike
XC, trail and enduro. A more upright position for control, with room for a slightly lower saddle.
City, trekking & e-bike
Upright riding for commuting, touring and e-bikes, where sitting up is the aim and not a fault.
Time trial & triathlon
A low aero position on aerobars, with targets built for the flattest torso of all.
How the online bike fit works
Calibrate
Enter your inseam once (we show you exactly how to measure it) and pick your riding goal: race, endurance or comfort. This scales every recommendation to your body.
Record 12 s
Put your bike on a trainer, set your phone or webcam side-on, and pedal. Live skeleton tracking and setup checks confirm you are perfectly in frame before you record.
AI analysis
The AI measures knee, hip, torso, elbow and ankle angles across every pedal stroke, plus cadence, pelvis stability and knee-over-pedal position.
Your report
A fit score, your top-3 priorities, step-by-step adjustments in millimetres, stretches, and a two-week plan, downloadable as PDF and sent to your inbox.
A pro-level coaching report
This is the heart of BikeFit/LAB. Every measurement becomes a clear, personal report that tells you exactly what to change, why it matters, and what you'll feel, the kind of guidance a bike fitter charges a hundred euros for.

Frequently asked
Do I need a trainer?
No. A trainer gives the most complete fit, but if you don't have one you can still measure the essentials, saddle height, reach and posture. Just lean your bike against a wall (or have someone hold it) and film your side while pedalling slowly backwards, or upload four side-view photos, one per pedal position (12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock). You choose your method at the start of the fit.
How accurate is a camera-based bike fit?
It depends on the setup. In an independent study with 26 cyclists, MediaPipe, the pose model BikeFit/LAB uses, differed from marker-based measurement by typically 3–6° at the knee and hip and more at the ankle (Bini et al., 2024). That is enough to see whether your saddle height and reach fall inside a typical range, not to judge a single degree. Setup matters: camera side-on at saddle height, 2–4 m away, fitted clothing. Millimetre estimates are scaled from your own inseam. A 2D camera cannot see everything a 3D studio fit can, such as cleat position, saddle width or left/right asymmetry.
What happens to my video?
Nothing leaves your device. The AI pose analysis runs entirely in your browser; only the resulting measurements are sent to our server to generate your report. Your video is never uploaded or stored.
What do I need?
A bike, ideally on an indoor trainer or rollers for the full analysis (without one you can film against a wall or upload four photos), a phone or webcam, decent light, fitted clothing and about 10 minutes.
Do credits expire?
No, credits never expire. They stay in your account until you use them. Because the report is delivered instantly as a digital service, you agree to immediate delivery at checkout and give up the statutory withdrawal period, so a purchase is final. This does not affect your legal rights if the service is faulty or not as described.
Is this medical advice?
No. BikeFit/LAB gives position guidance based on common bike-fitting reference ranges; our methodology page explains which are research-based and which come from practice. If you have pain, numbness or an injury, see a professional bike fitter or physician.
